By accessing and using INRA.AI (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

INRA.AI is owned and operated by Taman Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). When we refer to “INRA.AI” or “the Service” in these terms, we mean the AI-powered research platform operated by Taman Labs.
Description of service
INRA.AI provides an AI-powered research assistant platform that helps users conduct literature reviews, analyze academic papers, and generate research reports using artificial intelligence technology. Our services include:
- AI-powered automated literature review and academic paper analysis.
- Intelligent research assistance with natural language processing capabilities.
- Document management, PDF processing, and citation tools.
- AI-generated report synthesis and research insights.
- Academic search integration via third-party APIs (Semantic Scholar).
- Real-time research workflow management with progress tracking.
AI technology definition. For purposes of these terms, “AI” refers to systems and software that simulate human intelligence processes through algorithms, machine learning, and computational techniques, enabling tasks such as data analysis, decision-making, pattern recognition, and natural language processing.
User accounts and registration
To access certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- Keep your password secure and confidential.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable use policy
You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

- Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created work or fail to disclose AI assistance when required.
- Use the service to generate misleading, defamatory, or harmful content.
- Attempt to train competing AI models using our service outputs.
Intellectual property rights
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by INRA.AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a license to use, store, and process it to provide our services. AI-generated content and reports created using our service are owned by you, subject to these terms.
Subscription and payment terms
We offer both free and paid subscription plans (including monthly and yearly professional tiers). For paid subscriptions:
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
- Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
- We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or customer portal.
- Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
- Downgrading from a paid plan to free may result in loss of premium features and data limits.
Privacy and data protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
AI training and data usage
We utilize third-party AI providers (including but not limited to Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Google Gemini) to power our research assistance features. Regarding your data and AI training:
- When logged into our service, you retain control over whether your content is used for our product development or model training.
- We implement data protection measures when transmitting your content to AI providers.
- Third-party AI providers may have their own data usage policies — we recommend reviewing their terms.
- We do not use your personal research data to train competing AI models without explicit consent.
- You maintain ownership of your uploaded documents and generated research outputs.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall INRA.AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
AI-related liability. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content, including but not limited to research conclusions, citations, or recommendations. You acknowledge that AI outputs require human review and verification. Our total liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Third-party AI providers. We utilize third-party AI services and are not liable for their performance, availability, or outputs. Any claims related to third-party AI provider limitations or failures are subject to their respective terms of service.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which INRA.AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
